As a creative I'm always looking to create something, anything. It's second nature to just want to make everything.
Last summer 2019, I just knew I was going to add leather sandals to the Nikki&Mallory catalog but before that happened, I tested out making a pair of espadrille sandals to go with one of my bags. I had NO IDEA they would attract so much attention. Not only were people rushing to buy the Espadrilles Kit that got me started from "A Happy Stitch" but I even sold some of the leather to people interested in making a pair of their own!
So! I guess it was only right when Melissa Q, the Creator of 'A Happy Stitch' reached out about collaborating on a new/style espadrilles kit for the Artist Series of May 2020. As soon as I was asked, I knew that they had to be different from the 1st pair, and better. Truthfully, I like the other style but I LOVE this style.
