FAQ's

Q: How long does it take to receive my bag after placing an order?

A: Timeframes are listed under each product. Please understand everything is made-to-order. Typically it can take 1- 2 weeks before shipping, sometimes sooner.

Q: Do you really make all these items in your shop?

A: Yes. Everything is designed & constructed by me. There are no manufacturers involved and no assistance. I create each pattern piece from scratch and build your bag from that.

Q: Where is the leather you use to make bags purchased from?

A: All leathers are ethically sourced from local leather vendors or jobbers in other countries. Most leather used is recycled to eliminate waste. I tend to have tons of leather scraps available. If you're interested in using them for DIY or other projects, let me know. info@nikkiandmallory.com

Q: How often do you make new styles?

A: I try to make new styles bi-weekly. Depends on leather availability and season.

Q: How is shipping determined?

A: Each packaged is calculated based on the weight of your item and packaging to determine shipping costs. Nikki&Mallory will be offering flat rate and free shipping soon. Be on the lookout!

Q: Can I get a discount?

A: Requesting a discount discredits the quality of my craftsmanship. Don't ask. Subscribe to my newsletter for promotions + giveaways, follow the brand via social media for updates or go to Target.

Q: I'd like a custom order, where do I start and what can you make?

A: I can re-create almost anything if you have a vision or an idea in mind. Please make sure it falls along the style lines of what's offered in my shop. Select the "Custom Order Tab" on www.nikkiandmallory.com to get started.

Q: There's a blemish on my leather, what is that?

A:  "Leather isn't perfect, it's unique". In addition, leather isn't a synthetic material created in a factory to look perfect. Each hide has a distinctive look that highlights it's natural authentic marks. Essentially, no leather piece is alike; surface blemishes and imperfections may be noticeable.
